Buss, Reinhold (12 MAY 1893 – 1 DEC 1966)

Reinhold Buss, 73, a resident of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) for nine years, succumbed to an illness of five years, at his home on route 3, Marshfield, Thursday, December 1, 1966.

Funeral services were conducted at two o’clock Sunday afternoon from St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee, with the parish pastor, Rev. LeRoy Urman, officiating. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Charles Pibbernow, Julius and Otto Rohland, Art Klabon, Ed Lesta and Wm, Kangas.

Born May 13, 1893, in Shawano County, Wis., the deceased made his home in that area for many years. On May 21, 1910 he and the former Hulda Malong were married in a ceremony performed in the Town of Gr…? , Shawano County.

He was a veteran of World War I and in 1935 he and his family moved to Colby, were he was a cheese maker until 1946, when he moved to Owen. For several years he was employed at the Frederick Post plant, until suffering a stroke several years ago. In 19?? He and his wife moved from Owen to Marshfield.
