Word has been received by relatives of the induction of a former Owen-Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) graduate, James Altenburg, son of Mrs. Hazel Altenburg, into the U.S. Army, and of the fact that he is now serving his country in Korea. James resided in Portland, Oregon with his mother after leaving Owen, and at the time of his induction had been attended school in Coral Gables, Florida. Since leaving Mrs. Altenburg will be moving to Minneapolis in order to be near her son Gene and family until Jim returns home.
