Dianne Herington spent several days of her semester vacation visiting her sister
Donna in Waukesha.
The Garden Club will meet at the home of Mrs. Ralph Miller on Thursday, January
26 at 1:30 p.m.
Miss Samaria Gonzalez was a guest at the Ed Tytor home Friday evening and
Saturday and she also attended the 4-H Winter Carnival at Perkinstown on
Saturday.
John Anderson of Mauston visited the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Anna Sorensen
and other relatives and friends over the weekend.
The Friendly Homemakers met at the home of Mrs. Arnold Rasmussen Monday evening.
Mrs. Reinhold Buss of Superior visited friends here on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Timmler and family of Eau Claire spent the weekend at the
home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blunck and other relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Auberg and Mrs. Martin Paulson transacted business in Eau
Claire on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Armand Miller and children Wayne and Kristine visited the home of
their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Miller in Madison and attended
the graduation of their son Richard from the University of Wisconsin at Madison
on Saturday. Judy Miller and Nancy Brossow, students at the University, returned
home with them to spend a few days here during the semester vacation with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Armand Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brossow.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Baehr, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Doege, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Jensen
and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rabska gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Zasoba
to celebrate Mrs. Zasoba’s 80 th birthday on Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Rabska and family of Chippewa Falls visited at the home of
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rabska on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Christensen went to Wisconsin Rapids Sunday where they met
her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Smith of Fond du Lac and spent
the day visiting.
Malon Heath and Dan Anderson of Lake Mills visited the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Harley Herington on Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. O.A. Ammentorp and Mrs. Elsie Blunck of Minneapolis left Tuesday
for Phoenix, Arizona, where they will spend several weeks enjoying a vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Missling of Longwood and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Capes were guests
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Capes.
Charles Haas of La Crosse visited his mother at the Havenet Home in Owen and
with other relatives and friends in the vicinity on Monday.
Terry Wenzel returned to Menomonie Saturday after spending a few days at the
home of his mother, Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel.
