Miss Betty Wilhelm became the bride of James T. Roberson on Saturday, January
14, 1967, at a 2:30 o’clock wedding performed by Judge Herbert Steffes of
Wauwatosa. The ceremony was performed in the judge’s home.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wilhelm, 2467 N. 34 st
Street, Milwaukee, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Roberson of Owen
(Clark Co., Wis.).
The bride chose for her wedding a white brocade street length dress with a
matching coat. Her crescent shaped bouquet was of deep red roses.
She was attended by Miss Jean Jronemeyer of Milwaukee, who was attired in a
burgundy velvet street length dress accented by pale pink satin trim on the
cuffs. She carried a crescent shaped bouquet of pale pink roses.
Attending the groom was his brother, William Roberson, of Sparta.
Following the ceremony a reception as held at the Shorecrest Hotel in Milwaukee.
The bride attended Washington High School in Milwaukee and was graduated from
the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is
employed as employment counselor at the Youth Opportunity Center in Milwaukee.
Mr. Roberson is a graduate of the Owen school system and the University of
Wisconsin at Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree and now holds a position
at the Hamilton Beach plant in Racine being director of personnel.
The newlyweds will make their home at 2356 W. Warnimont Avenue, Milwaukee.
