Pertunen, Henry (25 OCT 1880 – 06 FEB 1967)
Rev. H.W. Luetkehoelter, pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, will
officiated at the funeral service to be held tomorrow, Friday, February 10,
1967, for Henry Pertunen, 86, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). Burial will be made at
Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Pertunen died Monday morning at Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley. He was
born October 25, 1880, in Finland, and in 1903 came to the United States. His
marriage to Olga Tomberg took place September 10, 1906 at Republic, Michigan.
In 1914 they came to the town of Reseburg (Clark Co.), where they farmed until
their retirement in 1948, when they moved to Withee.
In addition to his wife, survivors are four sons, George, Waukegan, Ill.;
Raymond and Eino, Withee; and William, Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. George L
(Pearl) Norman, Alhambra, California; and Mrs. Alvin (Irene) Bowers, Waukegan,
Ill.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
