Suzanne Svenson and Don Sanders, both students at Eau Claire State University, visited at the Roy Svenson's home over the weekend.

Otto Engel left Tuesday for Valparaiso, Indiana where he got his son Ronald, who attended Valparaiso University there. Ronald was dismissed from the hospital on Saturday, where he underwent surgery for a ruptured appendix. He will recuperate at the home of his parents for the next couple of weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Christensen spent last week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Don Christensen and family at Clam Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Helberg and family at Rice Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Englebretsen at Wausau, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Smith at Fond du Lac.

Mrs. William Engel spent a few days with her daughters and son-in-law, Miss Charlotte Engel and Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Jensen, at Green Bay last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Auberg returned home Saturday after spending a week in California.

Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Opelt of Neillsville spent Sunday at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Armin Miller.

Foster Will of Owen and Ralph Miller transacted business in Columbus Thursday and Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Irving Timmler and family of Eau Claire visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blunck over the weekend.

Word has been received by friends that Rev. Theodore Predoehl of Glidden, a former pastor at St. John's Luther Church here, is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield.

Sandra Wenzel returned to her studies at La Crosse State University Sunday, after spending the weekend her at the home of her mother, Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith of Mauston and Mr. and Mrs. David Segerstrom and daughters of Hustler, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Segerstrom Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hawks returned home after spending several days visiting their daughters and sons-in-law in Madison and Menomonee Falls.

Miss Marilyn Duvall and Miss Marcia Rohland, students at Concordia College in St. Paul, were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rohland over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson and family attended the wedding of her sister, Kay Devine to Jack Parker, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Miller of Addison, Ill. visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miller last weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fischer and Janice of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the home of Mrs. Fischer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost, and other relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. George Sorensen and Mrs. Anna Sorensen returned home Sunday evening from Minneapolis, where they visited since Thursday with relatives and the George Sorensen's attended a wedding on Saturday.
