Mleziva, Wencel "Jim" (25 APR 1885 – 24 FEB 1967)
Father H.L. Crubel officiated at the final rites conducted for Wencel "Jim"
Mleziva at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, Feb 28, 1967 at the Holy Rosary Catholic
Church. Burial was made in the family lot at Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Lesneski, John Greschner, Sr., John Grescher, Jr., Hoard
Blazer, Eugene Mertens and Sam Munson.
He passed away Friday, February 24, 1967 at the Havenet Nursing Home, Owen,
where he had been a resident the past two years.
Mr. Mleziva, 81, was born April 25, 1885, at Manitowoc. His marriage to Mary
Korinek or Korinew, who preceded him in death, November 2, 1961, took place in
June 1909 at Kellnersville.
In 1910 the couple moved to Redville, where they resided before coming to Owen
(Clark Co., Wis.) in 1959. Mr. Mleziva was employed as a brick and block mason
until his retirement.
Survivorss are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Frahman, Athens; two sisters, Mrs. Mary
Welch and Mrs. Anna Hynek, Manitowoc; a granddaughter and a grandson.
