Woik, Anton (02 JUL 1887 – 06 MAR 1967)
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hoeper and Kraut
Funeral Home in Owen for Anton Woik, 80, who died Monday, March 6, 1967 in St.
Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield. The Rev. Arthur Rasch will officiated and
burial will be made in St. Paul's parish cemetery in the town of Green Grove.
Serving as pallbearers will be Donald, Vernon and Marlin Sommers, Harley
Hardrath, Elmer Schuette and Ralph Woik.
Mr. Woik was born July 2, 1887, in the town of Green Grove, Clark County, and
had lived and worked as a farm laborer in this area his entire life. He was
never married.
Survivors are two brothers, Alvin and Paul Woik, both of Owen; two sisters, Mrs.
John (Olga) McLaughlin of California; and Mrs. Frank (Hulda) Nedley of
Milwaukee; and several nieces and nephews.
