The Rev. Jerry Wilkom performed the 10 o'clock wedding at St. Joseph's Catholic
Church, Stevens Point, uniting Miss Patricia Simon and Warren Lenn Menning on
Saturday, January 28th, 1967. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Helen Simon,
Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Menning
of Appleton.
The bride wore an off-white gown with matching pillbox headpiece and carried a
nosegay of yellow roses.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Mary Toni Jagodzinski, who wore a
gown of deep green fabric and white lace.
Attending the groom was Timothy Menning.
Following the wedding a one o'clock luncheon and reception were held at the
Point Bowl for 70 relatives and friends.
Following a four-day wedding trip they now reside at 439A Fifth St., Stevens
Point.
The bride is a graduate of Owen-Withee High School with the Class of 1965, and
attended WSU at Stevens Point. The groom attends WSU at Stevens Point and will
graduate following completion of study during the forthcoming summer school
session. He is employed as a brakeman for the Soo Line railway at present.
