Pautz, Gustave (9 APR 1875 – 14 MAR 1967)

Services will be held on Friday, March 17 at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home for Gustave August Pautz, who passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 1967 at the Clark County Hospital. Rev. H. Luetkehoelter will officiate at the services to be conducted at two o'clock, with burial to be made at Longwood Cemetery.

Gustave August Pautz died at the age of 91 years, 11 months and 5 days, due to complications of old age. Born to Germany on April 9, 1875, he came to the United States in 1895 and settled in the town of Longwood (Clark County, Wis.), where he worked in the lumber camps. In 1912 he was married to Ida Walters in the town of Longwood and farmed until 1957, when he entered the hospital. His wife preceded him in death in 1919.

Mourning his death is a son, Bernard, of rural Greenwood, and two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Elvina) Damerow of Greenwood and Mrs. Charles (Lorinda) Scott of Los Angeles, California.
