First scholastic honors have been awarded 351 students at Whitewater State University for their work during the first semester of 1966-67, according to Dr. Cord O. Wells, vice president for academic affairs.

First honors indicate an average for the semester of from 3.5 to 4.0, with 4.0 equivalent to straight "A".

Michael C. Milliren, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Milliren, route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), is one of 22 business administration freshmen designated as receiving first honors.
