Mrss. Priscilla Heyer and children of Chicago spent Saturday a nd Sunday at the
home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Funk. Paul and Ruth remained to spend
the Easter vacation with relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Engel of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Jensen of Green Bay
were recent guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Engel.
Easter Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thorvald Carlsen were
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Blazer, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Braun, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Carlsen
and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carlsen and son of Sheldon.
Mr. and Mrs. John Potocnik enjoyed Easter at the home of their daughter and
son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elliot Paulsen at Balsam Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kurhais Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kurhais Jr. of Chicago
visited friends and relatives in the area over the weekend.
Easter guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blunck were Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Blunck and family of Union Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Blunck and daughter of
Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Irving Timmler and family of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs.
Leon Bruchert and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gay Christophersen and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Johnson and son Kurt of North Aurora, Ill. spent Easter at
the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Uno Bakke.
Kelly Linjer of Manawa visited his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Linjer, over
the weekend.
Miss Natalie Scherf and Mrs. O.W. Parkinson returned Sunday evening from
Florida, where they had spent the past six weeks vacationing.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ammentorp and son of Cannon Falls, Minn., spent Easter at the
home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.A. Ammentorp.
Miss Emily Sorensen of Marshfield spent the weekend at the home of her mother,
Mrs. Anna Sorensen.
Miss Peggy Pagheri of New York City is a house guest at the home of Mrs. Phyllis
Wenzel this weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Sigurd Sorensen returned home on Tuesday from Florida where they
have spent the past two months enjoying the Florida sunshine. They also spent
the weekend visiting their son Sidney, who teaches school in Crystal Lake, Ill.
Miss Joanne Little of Green Bay is spending a week visiting at the home of her
brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Little and family.
Miss Sandra Wenzel, student at La Crosse State University at La Crosse, and
Terry Wenzel, who attends Stout University at Menomonie, arrived Friday to spend
the Easter vacation period from their studies with their mother, Mrs. Phyllis
Wenzel.
Dale Christophersen of West Allis spent Easter at the home of his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Gay Christophersen, as well as with other relatives and friends.
On Easter Sunday Mrs. Adelle Jackson and grandchildren, Kathy and Clarence
Jackson of Stratford, spen the day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Krazenski in
Thorp.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Salzback and daughter spent Easter weekend at the home of her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed LePage and other relatives and friends.
