Frankfurt, Germany – U.S. Air Force Captain Donald J. Petersen, son of Mr. and
Mrs. James A. Petersen, route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), has earned his Master
of Arts degree through a University of California overseas education program.
Captain Petersen, who received his degree in aerospace systems management, is
assigned at Rhein-Main AB, Germany. He serves as chief of the services division
for the USAF European Postal and Courier Region.
The captain is scheduled for reassignment in May, after nearly four years of
service in Germany.
Captain Petersen is a graduate of Withee High School. He was commissioned upon
completion of the Air Forece Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1957, and
received his B.A. degree in English at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.
His wife is the former Julieta Carman Olaves from Maracaibo, Venezuela.
