Sergeant Larson, an administrative supervisor, si assigned to the Air Defense Command, which provides aerospace defense against hostile aircraft and missiles.

The sergeant attended Owen High School.

His wife, Roxann, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Axel Lindgren of route 2, Owen.
