Ft. Gordon, Ga. – Pvt. Galen Bower, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert C. Bower,
route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), completed a six-week lineman course on April
14, 1967 at the Army Southeastern Signal School, Ft. Gordon, Georgia.
He was trained to install and maintain open wire and field communication wire.
He also received instruction in laying lead and rubber covered cable.
