Saltus, Elizabeth (18 FEB 1918 – 9 MAY 1967)

Services were conducted at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, May 13, at the Hoeper
and Kraut Funeral Home for Mrs. Elizabeth Saltus, 49, former Owen (Clark Co.,
Wis.) area resident, who died of leukemia on Tuesday, May 9, 1967, in Lutheran
Deaconess Hospital in Chicago. The Rev. Arthur, Colby, Officiated, and burial
was made at Riverside Cemetery, Withee.
The former Elizabeth Dumler was born February 18, 1918, at Randorf. She later
lived in the Dorchester and town of Green Grove (Clark Co.) areas until her
marriage, December 28, 1945 to Peter Michael Saltus. Since then she had resided
in Chicago.
Survivors include two children, Charlotte Saltus, Chicago; and Mrs. Charles
(Mary Ann) Petwin of California; three step-children, twelve step-grandchildren;
her mother, Mrs. Charlotte Dumler, Owen; and her father, who resides in Madison.
