Rodman, Robert G. (24 OCT 1935 - 22 MAR 2003)
Robert G. Rodman, 67, F1427 State Highway 29, Athens, died Saturday, March 22,
2003, at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.
Robert was born October 24, 1935, in the town of Frankfort, son of Helen (Dorfschmidt)
Rodman and the late Oscar Rodman. He married Judy Becker on September 8, 1962,
at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. She survives.
Robert was a dairy farmer. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S.
Army. Traveling, hunting and fishing were among his favorite things to do. Most
of all he loved to baby-sit his three grandsons.
Besides his wife, Judy Rodman, Athens and his mother, Helen Rodman, Athens,
survivors include, three sons, Brian (Cindy) Rodman, Wausau, Blain (Diane)
Rodman, Wausau, Bradley Rodman, Athens; three grandsons, Nathan, Joshua and
Thomas Rodman; one brother, Gene (Martha) Rodman, Edgar; many nieces and
nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at St. John
Lutheran Church, Town of Wien. Rev. Roger Moldenhauer will officiate. Burial
will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home,
Athens and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the
church.
There will be a prayer services at 7:45 p.m. on Monday at the Athens Funeral
Home.
