Pietrowski, Anna (Bobrowicz) (19 APR 1906 - 13 MAY 2002)

Anna Pietrowski, 96, a former Edgar resident, died Monday, May 13, 2002 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.

Anna was born April 19, 1906 in Clymer, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John and Eve (Zinkovicz) Bobrowicz. In 1924, she married Leo Pietrowski in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1991.

Anna and her husband farmed in the town of Johnson until retiring and moving to Edgar. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include one daughter, Marie Kittel, Wausau; grandchildren: Roger (Char Borchardt) Kittel, Shelia (Dennis) Czerwinski, Thomas Kittel, Russell Kittel, Gary (Beth) Kittel, Linda (Scott) Gray, Cheryl (David) Berg and Lori Gettig and 13 great grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Kittel; one sister, Mary and three brothers, Joe, Peter and John Bobrowicz.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2002 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. The Rev. Bernard Raschke will preside. Burial will be at the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the church.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements.
