San Antonio, Texas – Airman Donald R. Votava, son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Votava of route 2, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), has been selected for technical training at Sheppard AFB, Texas, as a U.S. Air Force aircraft maintenance specialist.

The airman recently completed basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas. His new school is part of the Air Training Command, which conductes hundreds of specialized courses to provide technically trained personnel for the nation's aerospace force.

Airman Votava is a 1966 graduate of Owen-Withee High School.
