Molzen, Anna (24 MAR 1880 – 5 JUN 1967)
Mrs. Anna Molzen, 87 years, 2 months and 11 days of age, passed away June 5,
1967 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Shew as born on March 24, 1880 in Germany and came to the United States as a
young lady.
She was married to Ferdinand Molzen on July 29, 1905 at Mount Vernon, New York.
In 1914 they settled on a farm in the Town of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.). Her
husband passed away in June 1956. Since that time she has lived with a daughter,
Mrs. Bertha Koepsell, at Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
She is survived by her two sons, Gustave Molzen, rural Withee, and Fred Molzen,
Barron; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Koepsell, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Mrs.
Harry (Gertrude) Mogenson, Chicago, Illinois; four grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday, June 9 at St. John's
Lutheran Church, Withee, with Rev. Leroy Urman officiating. Burial will be made
at Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Julius Rohland, Arthur and Ted Klabon, Jim Petersen, and Ray
and Ted Petke.
