John Kallio, son of Mr. and Mrs. Toivo Kallio, rural Owen (Clark Co., Wis.),
will be one of 320 Freshmen to enter Cornell College this fall. John is a 1967
graduate of Owen-Withee High School and was the valedictorian of his class.
A week ago this past Saturday John and his parents toured the college's campus,
where he will be a pre-medical student, and is attending college on a
scholarship grant of $2,620, that includes a $1,500 scholarship that is
renewable each year.
