Andersen, Alice Johanna (11 JUN 1967)
Married on June 11, 1967 at Calvary Lutheran Chapel, Madison, were Alice Johanna
Andersen and Allan Ervin Krahn. The parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Dan
B. Andersen, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mrs. Alice Krahn, Owen (Clark Co.),
and the late E.F. Krahn.
Rev. Vernon Gundermann officiated at the ceremony, and Edward O. Hugdahl,
Madison, played the organ. Providing additional music were James Koerschen,
Cosmos, Minn., with the French Horn, and John Reed, Detroit, Michigan, with the
trumpet.
The bride wore a floor length white creqe gown trimmed with daisies. Her veil
was ankle length, of silk illusion and trimmed with a narrow border of lace.
Mrs. Dan Moe, Boston, Mass., the bride's sister,w as the matron of honor. She
wore a floor length pink print dress with bell sleeves and an A-line skirt.
Alan Mills, Grand Rapids, Minn., a college friend of the groom, was the best
man. Robert Brodhagen, Bonduel, and Richard Claybaugh, Nekoosa, were ushers.
A reception with about 50 guests was held immediately after the ceremony at the
Ivy Inn in Madison.
The bride and groom are both students at the University of Wisconsin. She is
majoring in English and he in Classical Greek. After graduation Mr. Krahn plans
to attend Concordia Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.
