Eric M. Ludwig, 22, Stratford, died unexpectedly November 3, 2011.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Hope
Lutheran Church, Edgar. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday,
November 7, 2011 at Hope Lutheran Church, and again on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until
the time of service at the church. Burial will follow the service at the Hope
Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Eric was born May 7, 1989 to Gary and Pam (Leffel) Ludwig in Prairie du Chien.
He graduated from Stratford High School in 2007. He then graduated from the
National Hardwood Lumber Association Grading School in Memphis, TN. Eric worked
side by side with his father, for the family business, L&N Hardwoods, in
Shawano, as a Plant Manager and Lumber Inspector.
Eric enjoyed the outdoors: hunting and fishing, and playing sports: softball,
basketball, dartball, golfing, and beer pong. Most of all he enjoyed spending
time with his family and friends.
Eric is lovingly survived by his parents, Gary and Pam Ludwig of Stratford, his
brother, Joshua Ludwig of Stratford, and sister, Rachel Ludwig of Stratford, his
grandparents: Duane and Connie Ludwig of Colby and Darrel and Cheryl Leffel of
Stratford, and his great grandmothers: Rosie Kopp of Curtiss, and Orleata Leffel
of Stratford.
