Whitmore, Charles A.
WITHEE – Charles A. Whitmore, 79, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Clark County
Health Care Center, Owen. He had been there the past eight years.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen. The Rev.
Peter Thomsen of Nazareth Lutheran Church is to officiate. Burial will be in
Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 18, 1901 in Milwaukee. He was a World War II veteran and worked
for the Village of Withee for a number of years.
He is survived by three brothers, Arthur, John and Robert, all of Withee; and
four sisters, Mrs. Walter (Norma) Sperling of Withee, Mrs. Emil (Alice) Hanke of
New Berlin, Mrs. Gebhardt (Agnes) Braatz of Schofield and Mrs. Douglas (Ruth)
Blum of Owen. Two Brothers and one sister are deceased.
