Robert Haselow, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Haselow, city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.),
left Tuesday, after spending a few days visiting his parents, and returned to
Madison. He then left there with a group of medical students for Miami, Florida
and then to Costa Rica, Central America.
While in Costa Rica, he and his fellow students will work with the World Health
Organizatin, which is part of the United Nations program. About 80 to 85 doctors
and nurses, as well as med students, are in the group and will work with the
people who are suffering from an epidemic of polio and measles. Since June
Robert has worked in the University Hospital.
