Marinkovic, Mary (8 DEC 1882 – 2 OCT 1967)
Funeral services were conducted at 10 o'clock this morning at the Holy Rosary
Catholic Church, Owen, for Mrs. Mary Marinkovic, 84. Father H.L. Crubel
officiated, with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery. Six grandsons served
as pallbearers.
Mrs. Marinkovic passed away Monday, October 2, 1967 at the Clark County
Hospital, Owen.
The former Mary Peic was born December 8, 1882 in Hungary, and was married there
in 1902 to Joseph Raynovic, who preceded her in death in 1933. In 1935 she was
married to George Marinkovic, who preceded her in death in 1962. Since that time
she has made her home here with a daughter, Mrs. Steve Kalso, route 1, Owen
(Clark Co., Wis.).
After her first marriage, they came to the United States and settled in the Owen
area.
Survivors are a son, Frank Raynovic, of Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Steve
Kalso, route 1, Owen, and Mrs. Louis Butowski, Chicago; 13 grandchildren and 25
great-grandchildren.
