The engagement of Miss Mary Ellen Stevens to David William Herrmann, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Alphonse Herrmann of Abbotsford, has been announce by her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Clifford Stevens of Effingham, Ill. Miss Stevens is a 1964 graduate of
Ellingham High School and received her BS in Education from Easter Illinois
University in 1968. She is presently a home economics teacher at Beloit Memorial
High School. Her fiancé is a 1959 graduate of Abbotsford High School and
received his BS degree from Wisconsin State University in 1965. He is presently
a mathematics teacher at Beloit Memorial High School. The wedding is planned for
August 9, 1969 in Effingham, Ill.
