Michlig, Sheldon Q. (7 FEB 1978 - 15 NOV 2016)
Sheldon Q. Michlig, 38, Chagrin Falls, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday,
November 15, 2016. He was born February 7, 1978 in Marshfield, the son of Ronald
and Mary Michlig of Edgar.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. Robert
Streveler will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Halder.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the Stewart Avenue
funeral home.
Sheldon attended Edgar High School and worked as a car mechanic for several
years before finding his true passion, aviation. He was a Gold Seal Flight
Instructor and taught in Marshfield, WI, Cincinnati, OH and Baltimore, MD.
Sheldon loved music and his favorite band was Guns 'n Roses. He played the
guitar and was a member of the band Livewire in his late teens.
Sheldon was a loving and supportive husband and a terrific father to his three
children, Ryan, Christian and Sophia. They were his joy and pride.
Survivors include his wife, Roxana; his sons, Ryan and Christian; his daughter,
Sophia; his parents, Ron and Mary Michlig; two sisters, Carrie Michlig,
Savannah, GA, and Sheri Dana, Watertown, WI; nieces and nephews, Greg Gajewski,
Jordan Schmidt, Zoie and Zander Dana; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Mary Michlig
and maternal grandmother, Margaret Jones.
