Henrichs, Dolores M. (Weiler) Eckert (11 OCT 1930 - 3 APR 2011)
Dolores M. Henrichs, 80, Athens died Sunday, April 3, 2011 under the care of
Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after a courage's
battle with cancer.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at
St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. The Very Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at
the church.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Dustin Newman, Kyle Schueller, Scott Carmen, Josh
Hartway, Chad Ferge, Paul Lobacz and honorary pallbearer Great Grandson Dawson
Penney.
Dolores was born October 11, 1930, in Athens, daughter of the late Anton and
Amelia (Lavicka) Weiler. Dolores and the late Emery Henrichs were married
December 7, 1953 in Pine City, MN. He preceded her in death October 26, 1994.
Dolores was a homemaker and mother. She had also worked at the Athens IGA, Braun
Brother Mink Farm, Athens, and Standard Container of Edgar WI. In the past few
years she enjoyed patching & fixing zippers for people in Athens and the
surrounding communities. She also loved hand stitching, puzzles, gardening and
spending time with her family.
She is lovingly survived by her children Art Henrichs, Athens, Bill (Cindy Who)
Henrichs, Wausau, Cathy (Gary) Schueller, Edgar, Fran Newman, Edgar, Greta
Henrichs, Athens, Paul Henrichs, Weston and Brenda Henrichs, Schofield. 16
Grandchildren, Nicole (Josh), Jamie (Tim), Dustin (Krystal), Deb (Chad), Jaclyn
(Mark), Connie (Chad), Jennifer (Kris), Christina, Amy (Paul), Tiffany, Ashley,
Scott (Allondra), Shelly (Pat), Brittany (Matt), LeeAnn and Kyle. 22 Great
Grandchildren. 2 Sisters, Sr. Josephine Weiler, LaCrosse, Martha Genger, West
Bend, 1 brother, Frank Weiler, Montello. 8 Brother & Sister-in-laws, Mitchie
Weiler, Arlene Voigt, Haron (Alvera) Henrichs, Mavis (Eldred) Nehrbass, Laverne
(Joyce) Henrichs and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Eckert, infant son, John
Eckert, husband, Emery Henrichs, son, Peter Henrichs, brothers, Tony, Lawrence,
Jim, Edward, Peter, sisters, Ann and Katie.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Dolores's name.
