Southworth, Bernice C. (7 OCT 1967)
The marriage of Miss Bernice C. Southworth, 816 E. Gorham Street, Madison, and
William F. Guerten, 1118 Ann Street, also of Madison, took place Saturday,
October 7, 1967 at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Madison.
Mr. and Mrs. Claire E. Southworth, route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and
Mrs. Frederick H. Guerten, 4302 Maher Avenue, Madison, are their parents.
The bride wore a floor length A-line gown of white linen with a Watteau train. A
band headdress held her veil. She carried yellow daisy pompons.
Mrs. Lee Hessefort was her sister's matron of honor, and Mrs. John Southworth,
bridesmaid. They wore floor length A-line dresses of royal blue sheer over
taffeta.
They carried French nose gays of white pompons and yellow daisies.
Cyril F. Hanko, Madison, was best man and Don Steinmetz Jr., Madison, groomsman.
Terry L. Poole, Madison and Richard L. Adler, Milwaukee, ushered.
After a luncheon at Leske's Supper Club, the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to
the Smoky Mountains. They now reside at 1118 Ann Street, Madison.
The bride is a traffic analyst for General Telephone Co. of Wisconsin. Her
husband, a Madison Business College graduate, is an accountant for the Wisconsin
Farm Bureau Building Cooperative, Madison.
Guests came from Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Wauwatosa, Kaukauna, Wausau, Appleton,
DePere, Wrightstown, Medford, Minneapolis, St. Paul and Owen.
