Perry Bublitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Bublitz, was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on Friday for an emergency appendectomy.

Mrs. Dick Laube entertained her bridge club on Monday evening with Miss Eleanor Mauel placing first, Mrs. Arneson second, and Mrs. C.O. Albert received the traveling prize.

Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Lentz of Downers Grove, Ill. spent the Thanksgiving Holiday at the Dean Krug home.

John Laakso of Richland Center was home for Thanksgiving and the deer hunting seaston at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnie Laakso.

Students home from WSU, Eau Claire during the holidays were Terry Woodbeck, Susanne Svenson, Mike Gardner, Mary Shreve, Mary Gummerson, Lenny Melbinger, Diane Woik, Diane and Larry Herington, Pat Kafka, Jim and Jack Eloranta, Bill Conzemius, Sharon Graham, Darlene Moore and Dolores Rinehart.

Students home from the University of Wisconsin at Madison over the Thanksgiving recess were Bill Montage, Walter Lew, Rachel Rettig, Sandra Zelm, Robert Haselow, Christine and Jens Beck, Mary Ellen Hughes, Denny Galarowicz, Mary Ellen Hughes and David Martin.

Mrs. Victor Grube enjoyed having her sons visit her during the recent deer hunting season. Eldon and Gerald came from Des Plaines, Ill.; Richard of Milwaukee and LaVerne of Rolling Meadows, Ill.

Kenneth Grube, who has been stationed with the army since March oof this year at Newport News, Va., is now at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Grube, on a 20 days leave. Upon his returned to base he expects to be assigned to Vietnam.

A/2c Douglas Grube, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Grube of route 1, Owen, arrived her last week from Vietnam, where he had been stationed with the Air Force the past year, and will enjoy a 30 day leave. He has been doing office work at a base near Saigon.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Luke and children of Waukegan, Ill. spent the holiday weekend here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Kangas.
