Doucette, Lawrence (1903 – 30 DEC 1967)

Graveside services for Lawrence Doucette were conducted at Riverside Cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Earlier final rites had been conducted at 9 a.m. at St. Olaf's Catholic Church at DeForest.

He died at his home in Deforest Saturday and was 64 years of age. His health had been failing the past two years.

For many years he was a resident of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), serving as general manager of what was then Commonwealth Telephone Company. The family left here about 20 years ago.

He was married to the former Helen Scharer of this city, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas, DeForest, and James, Milwaukee; a brother, Joseph, Crivitz; a sister, Mrs. A.R. Thurn, Rothschild; and four grandchildren.
