Shelly M. Ivaska, 45, Edgar, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at her home.
She was born March 21, 1964 in Cicero, Ill., the daughter of John and Pauline (Stieber)
Ivaska of Edgar.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon Saturday, April 25, 2009 at St. John
Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Robert Streveler will preside. Burial will be in
St. John Cemetery, Edgar.
Friends may call Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral
Home, Edgar and again on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the
church. Rev. Dennis Romine will lead a prayer service Friday evening at 8:00
p.m. at the funeral home.
Shelly was a 1982 graduate of the Edgar High School. She was a member of the
Christian Assembly Church, Wausau and was involved in many church activities.
Among her many interests, Shelly had a beautiful voice and sang in the church
choir in her younger years. She also had a great love of cats and horses and
most of all, enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, whom she adored.
Survivors include, her parents, John and Pauline Ivaska, Edgar; four siblings,
Linda Woznicki, Mukwonago, Cameron (Scott) Fansler, Edgar, Donny Ivaska, Mosinee
and Anne (Eric) Twerberg, Marathon; three nieces, Kirsten and Sarah Woznicki and
Paulina Twerberg; three nephews, David and Andy Woznicki and Kristoffer Twerberg;
and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
