Rodesch, Harold F. (10 JUN 1928 - 22 NOV 2010)

Harold F. Rodesch, 82, Edgar, died Monday, November 22, 2010 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, November 26, 2010 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. The Rev. Robert Streveler will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.

He was born June 10, 1928 in Edgar, son of the late Nicholas and Anna (Schueller) Rodesch. On September 29, 1956 he married Phyllis Kondzela at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. She survives.

Harold served his Country in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Sawyer-Drumm Post No. 393, Edgar. Prior to his retirement, Harold had been employed at Standard Container Company, Edgar. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, the Catholic Order of Foresters and was an usher at church.


Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Rodesch, Edgar; children, Steve Rodesch, Wausau and Margie (Richard) Cook, Bel Air, Maryland; grandson, Matthew Cook, Maryland; nieces, Joan (David) Huebl, Marshfield and Janice Austin, Wisconsin Rapids; nephews, Jim (Kay) Felix, Lake DuBay and Glenn (Marlene) Felix, Altoona, other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Isabelle McGuire and Loretta Felix.
