Sunday guests at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Buss were Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Schneider, Ladysmith, Mrs. Lloyd Haemer and Pearl, Curtiss; Mrs. Robert
Schneider, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Schuh and children, Colby. They also
attended the 2nd annual Ski Doo Derby in the afternoon.
Bruce Klocke, student at Wisconsin State University, Stevens Point, enjoyed the
weekend here at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Klocke.
Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lueth and family of Spring Valley and Mr. and Mrs. James
Nelson and family of Chippewa Falls were Sunday guests at the home of their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fielder Lueth, and other relatives in this area. In the
afternoon they all attended the Ski Doo Derby.
Relatives, friends and neighbors were guests of Mrs. Anna Ton Friday in
observance of her birthday. A lunch was served.
Mrs. Clara Lein attended the funeral services for Mrs. George Ulander at Stanley
Saturday afternoon.
Albert Klessig, Wm. Klessig and Ray Klessig attended the unreal services for
their brother-in-law, Herman Marquardt, at Schofield on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bowen, Wausau; Dale Bowen, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Peissig, Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Henry House and Mr. and Mrs. Harold House
were Sunday guests at the Les Bowen home. They all attended the 2nd annual Boom
Town Chaser Club Derby held here.
Lester Bowen and Merlin Schjoneman of Colby left via plane Monday morning for
Tampa, Florida, where they will spend several days as guests of the Bombardier
Co.
Relatives, friends and neighbors met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Koerner
to help Mrs. Koerner celebrate her birthday on Tuesday. The afternoon was spent
visiting, and lunch served later.
Mr. and Mrs. Chalres Rochiam of Oshkosh were weekend guests at the home of her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Laabs.
Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Geary and Dorothy attended a birthday party at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Roger Nicks in honor of Roger's birthday on Friday evening, February
23. A delicious lunch was served.
Miss Beverly Kraut, Madison, spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Franklin Kraut.
