Announcement is made of the engagement of Catherine Alexandria Gardner, daughter of Mrs. Margaret A. Gardner and the late George A. Gardner, to Airman Louis Charles Porath, son of Mrs. Neva Porath and Herman Porath of Black River Falls, Wis.

Catherine graduated from Owen'-Withee High School in 1964 and attended Stout University at Menomonie, and has been employed at My Florist in La Crosse as a Floral Designer. Airman Porath graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1964, attended Stout University and Menomonie and graduated from Coleman Technical Institute at La Crosse before entering the Air Force, and is presently stationed at Keesler Air Force Base at Biloxi, Mississippi.

An August wedding is planned.
