Herb Carlson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Carlson, Abbotsford, recently
received his Bachelor degree in Industrial Education at Stout State University.
He received his degree during the spring commencement exercises at Stout State
University Saturday, May 24, 1969. Four hundred forty-seven persons received
Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and Master of Science degrees in the 10
a.m. ceremony, which was followed by a luncheon.
Thomas Haggai, a national youth leader and head of Thomas Haggai Associates
Foundation, High Point, N.C., was the speaker. Degrees were by Stout's
president, William J. Michaels, and diplomas presented by James Solberg, member
of the Board of Regents from Menomonie.
