Hultman, Wynn “Papa” (17 April 1949 – 15 December 2016)
Wynn “papa” Hultman, 67, passed away Dec. 15, 2016, at his home in Merrillan.
Wynn was born April 17, 1949, in Hinsdale, IL, and grew up in Downers Grove, IL,
where he met his wife and they raised their family. Wynn retired in 2009 and
they moved up to Merrillan. Wynn was a hard-working, honest, loyal family man
who always made his wife and family his first priority. His wife, two daughters
and six granddaughters cherished him immensely. Wynn loved fishing on his
pontoon, working in his yard with his good friend Chuck Koran, drinking Old
Style, bonfires in his back yard, fishing with his granddaughters, watching
football, the Chicago Bears, being at The Mug when the Packers lost so he could
harass everyone, the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series, working with Cindy
painting her Victorian house, he loved when Beth drove anywhere instead of Mary,
he enjoyed seeing Alyssa, Shaun and his two great-grandsons – being happy there
were finally boys around, he loved spending time with Kai doing anything away
from off of the estrogen, he loved to take his family on trips to Disney World,
taking Mary to Stones Throw on Thursday nights, crossword puzzles, playing
solitaire, watching westerns, watching FOX News and his favorite things was
being at home by his fireplace with Mary and Lolli (his puppy dog).
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Beth (Edward) Lebak of Davie,
FL, and Cindy (Kai) Moseid of Neillsville. Wynn always said his sons-in-law were
the sons he never had – he loved them as sons. He is also survived by six
grandchildren, Alyssa (Shaun), Lindsey (Jesse), Kellie, Kaia, Ellie, and Cali;
two great-grandchildren: Gavin and Kayden; his parents, a brother and two
sisters, five sisters-in-law and countless nieces, nephews, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother-in-law and
father-in-law.
Wynn has requested that there be no service. He also requested that in lieu of
flowers, “donations to be made to his wife of 50 years for unforeseen medical
expense.” Mary Hultman, N9459 Arbutus Lane, Merrillan, WI 54754.
