Three students from Colby are among the nearly 4,300 students who are candidates
for degrees at the University of Wisconsin's June commencement at Madison this
year, to be held at Wisconsin's historic Camp Randall Stadium Monday morning,
June 9, 1969.
They and the degrees for which they are candidates are: Steven R. Sterzinger,
route 1, Bachelor of Arts; John M. Kunick, Bachelor of Science, and Beverly A.
Runzheimer, route 2, Bachelor of Science, Secondary Education.
The graduation ceremony highlights a weekend of intensive commencement activity
on Wisconsin's campus at Madison, Sunday and Monday, June 8 and 9. A reception
in honor of the graduates and their parents is held Sunday evening, and Sunday
afternoon an honors convocation cites 957 students, largest number in history,
for their academic achievements during their university careers.
