Miss Mary Meyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Meyer, Colby, and Miss Eunice
Sauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Sauer, also of Colby, and Miss Maxine
Schaefer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Werner Schaefer of Abbotsford, received their
diplomas from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, Friday May 30, 1969.
Commencement exercises were held in the Senior high school auditorium at 1 p.m.
The nursing graduates, along with the graduates of the schools of medical and
radiological technology and histologic technique, formed a procession which
entered to the music of the march "Pomp and Circumstance." Following the
invocation, given by Father Agnew, David H. Jaye Jr., Hospital Administrator,
extended greetings to the graduates.
George L. River, M.D, Chief of the Medical Staff at St. Joseph Hospital,
introduced the speakers and acted as master of ceremonies for the conferring of
diplomas.
