Schraufnagel, Deborah Ann (31 MAY 1969)
Miss Deborah Ann Schraufnagel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schraufnagel of
Abbotsford, and Patrick James Ruesch, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Ruesch of
Medford, were united in marriage at a 7 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 31, 1969.
The ceremony was performed by Father Emil Hodnik at St. Bernard's Catholic
Church, Abbotsford.
The bride was attired in a floor length bridal gown of sheer organza, fashioned
with long sleeves and a jewel neckline encrusted with re-embroidered Alencon
lace. The veil was highlighted by a lace edged Madonna mantilla sweeping to
chapel length. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses with white stephanotis.
The bride's matron of honor was Mrs. James Koebl of La Crosse. The bridesmaids
included Valerie Ruesch of Medford and Kathy Roth.
The bride's attendants were attired in floor length dresses of maize linen with
multi-colored embroidered sleeves, which complemented the empire style gowns.
Daisies accented the harmonizing picture hats of sheer braid. They carried
wicker baskets with yellow and white daisies.
The groom's attendants were John Ruesch of Medford, as best man, and groomsmen
were C. Schraufnagel of Wausau and H. Schraufnagel of Abbotsford.
