Holub, Harold James (16 May 1941 – 21 December 2016) With Flag

Harold Jame Holub 75, of Black River Falls/Hatfield, died Dec. 21, 2016, at Country Terrace, Black River Falls. He was born in the Township of Levis, Clark County, May 16, 1941, the son of Ervin and Elsie (Marek) Holub. He married Arlene Meyer, Oct. 5, 1968.

Harold proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He worked most of his life as a truck driver, where he often was known for saying ‘the bigger the truck the better’. He served many years with the Hatfield Fire Department. He loved to go fishing, hunting, and paying cards with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene of nearly 48 years, and several other extended family and friends.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Famiyeh officiating. Burial will take place later. Visitation was held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Buswell Funeral Home of Black River Falls assisted the family with arrangements.
