Pribbernow, Alice E. (28 JAN 1940 – 28 DEC 2016)
Alice E. Pribbernow, age 76, of Marshfield formerly of Owen, passed away on
Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at
St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee. The Rev. Thomas Myhre will officiate.
Inurnment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in the Town of Hixon, at a later
date. Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm on Friday,
December 30, 2016 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen and from 10:00
a.m. until the time of services at the church on Saturday.
Alice was born on January 28, 1940, the daughter of Sylvester and Helen B.
(Bauer) O'Brien in the Town of Colby. She worked as a nurse's aide in the
nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the Colby area. Alice also
worked in the office for Hutt Electric Supply in Abbotsford.
Alice was united in marriage to Alvin H. Pribbernow Jr. on September 14, 1963 at
Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Thorp.
Alice was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church. After retirement Alice
enjoyed luncheon outings with her siblings and also looked forward to
volunteering at Bethesda in Wausau. She enjoyed camping and spending time with
her family.
Alice is survived by her husband; Alvin of Owen, sons; Bruce (Bonnie) Pribbernow
of Marshfield and Richard (Judy) Pribbernow of Milan, grandson; Skyler Michael
(Carmen) Pribbernow of Medford, step-grand-daughters; Christine (Eric) Wolf of
Marshfield, and Tara (Evan) Sullivan of Green Bay, step great-grand-daughters;
Gracie Wolf, Madison Sullivan, Pryia Sullivan and Emma Wolf. She is further
survived by her siblings; Dorothy Schultze of Thorp, Carol Stroming of Colby and
George O'Brien of Colby.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son; Gerald Pribbernow.
