Zubal, Anna (20 MAY 1889 – 30 SEP 1968)
Anna Zubal, 79, of rt. 2, Stanley, died at St. Joseph's Hospital Monday. She was
born May 20, 1889 in Scranton, Pa., and married John Zubal in October 1906. They
moved to Chippewa County to arm in 1915. In 1961 they moved to Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.), and in 1968 moved back to the Huron area.
Survivors are two sons, William, Stanley, and Michael, Madison; four daughters,
Mrs. Louis Dornpiak and Mrs. Charles Olmstead, both of Binghamton, N.Y., Mrs.
Jess Bandor, Thorp, and Mrs. Don Matson, Naperville, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs.
Pauline Joyce, Scranton, Pa., and Mrs. Helen Bodnar, Binghamton, N.Y.; 15
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, at 10 a.m. from the Holy Ghost
Orthodox Church, with the Rev. Wakiomier Borowsky officiating. Burial will be in
the church cemetery.
