Two former Thorp area (Clark Co., Wis.0 brothers met recently in Vietnam, where
borth are serving witht eh 32nd Airborne Division.
They are PFC William Ochab and Specialist Joseph Ochab, son of Mrs. Mae Ochab,
Chicago, and nephews of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hendzel, Thorp.
Joseph enlisted in the Army in September 1967, served six months in Korea and
volunteered for duty in Vietnam. He arrived there August 27th, 1968 and in
September met his brother.
William was drafted in December and arrived in Vietnam in May. The two are
stationed four mile apart in Vietnam.
