The marriage of Miss Ruth Ann Re King to Mr. Dean George Ebben took place
Saturday, September 14, 1968 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Little Flower in
Richmond Heights, Missouri.
Miss Re King is the daughter of Mrs. Ruth Re King and the late Mr. Frank Re King
of St. Louis. The bride attended Rosati Kain High School and is now employed at
the Automobile Club of Missouri.
Mr. Ebben, a native of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), spent four years in the United
States Air Force, with one year of active duty in Vietnam. He is now employed by
Kohler Company Plumbing Fixture Manufacturer. Mr. and Mrs. Delton Ebben of
Thorp, Wisconsin, the bridegroom's parents, were in St. Louis for the wedding,
along with other members of the family.
The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Mr. Robert R. Melhofer, wore a full
length dress of white satin trimmed in applique lace, and carried a bouquet of
white roses and lilies of the valley. Maid of honor was Miss Jacqueline
Schwartze, and bridesmaid was Miss Katrina Richle, both of St. Louis. The
bridegroom's brother, Mr. Dale Ebben of Madison, Wisconsin, was best man, and
Mr. David Ebben, also the groom's brother, was also in the wedding party. Flower
girl and ring bearer were Miss Melissa Melhofer and Master John Melhofer, the
bride's niece and nephew. Ushers were Mr. David Schauer and Mr. John Melhofer.
An afternoon luncheon followed at the Salad Bowl Restaurant, and an evening
reception was held at the Creve Coeur Memorial Post.
The couple honeymooned in New Orleans and Dustin, Florida.
They will make their home in St. Louis.
