Interior Communications Electrician John S. Malaszuk of route 3, Thorp (Clark
Co.), Wisconsin, and husband of the former Miss April C. Jensen of 3124 Maple
Drive, Buena Park, California, is serving aboard the guided missile armed
destroyer USS Berkeley in the Gulf of Tonkin.
The Berkeley, conducting a patrok in the company of the destroyer USS Furse, had
used its five-inch guns to sink four enemy boats and damage three, with the aid
of a Marine A4 Skyhawk jet.
