Klennert, Lucy (McClelland) (19 FEB 1946 - 19 DEC 2016)

Lucy Klennert, age 70, of Ridgeland, passed away on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 at Dallas Care and Rehabilitation.

She was born on Feb. 19, 1946 to Kenneth and Mildred (Claybaugh) McClelland in Grand Rapids, Minn. On July 22, 1967, she married Don Klennert at Bethel Lutheran Church in Warba, Minn.

Lucy worked as a registered nurse and also held a real estate license. She enjoyed camping, cheering on her Green Bay Packers, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
Lucy is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Darlene (Bruce) Greniger; and brother, William McClelland.

She is survived by her husband Don, of 50 years; her children, Donna (Edward) Michaelson of Chetek, Wally Klennert of Ridgeland and Karen Klennert of Chippewa Falls; four grandchildren, Jessica (Kristopher) Harkins of Green Bay, Ashly, Kasey and Daniel Michaelson of Chetek; brother, Kelly McClelland of Eveleth, Minn, as well as many nieces, nephews and a very special Labrador Retriever, Zeus.

A celebration of Lucy’s life will be held on Friday, Dec. 23 from 5-7 p.m. at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron.
