Kowalski, Joseph (3 JUN 1928 – 30 OCT 1968)

Joseph Kowalski, 40, died at the Veterans Hospital in Marion, Indiana, last Wednesday, October 30, 1968, of an apparent heart attack.

Services were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home at Owen. The Rev. H.L. Crubel, pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, officiated, and burial was made at Riverside Cemetery at Withee. Military rites were conducted by the Lublin Post of the American Legion.

Mr. Kowalski was born June 3, 1928, at Lublin (Taylor Co.), Wis., where he also received his education. He was a veteran of World War II and for the past 16 years had been employed at the Veterans Hospital at Marion, Indiana.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Tillie Kowalski, Lublin; two sisters, Mrs. Rudy (Pattie) Potocnik, Owen, Mrs. Basel (Mary) Lewandowski, Chicago, Ill.; and three brothers, John and Felix, both of Chicago, and Frank, Withee.
