Sunday afternoon and evening visitors at the Charles Nitz home were Mr. and Mrs.
David Philips of Eau Claire. Mrs. Philips is the former Donna Nitz of Eau
Claire, and a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nitz.
Mrs. Maud Ohlsted, Mrs. Nora Hartel and Mrs. Olga Myre were Sunday afternoon
visitors at the Alma Johnson home.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Swope and sons of Tunnel City visited at the Ronnie Swope
home Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Hanson and Tom of Chippewa were Sunday dinner guests and
afternoon visitors at the Joe Miller home.
Mary Krueger of Sparta and Loretta Krueger of Stanley were Wednesday morning
breakfast guests at the Don Miller home. Friends of the ladies may be interested
to know that they had just returned from an 18 day bus tour to California, and
also visited many places of interest along the way, at Tucson, Arizona they were
visited at their motel room by old friends, formerly from the Stanley area, Mr.
and Mrs. Ed Stangret. In California Loretta Krueger's son, Dale, who is
stationed in the Navy, spent a day with them visiting Disneyland and enjoying
the Lawrence Welk show in the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Manier were Tuesday supper guests at the Joe Hoban home in
honor their granddaughter, Kathy Horban's, third birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Mattheisen were Thursday evening visitors at the Dick Brandt
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hakes visited at the Ronald Hakes home Thursday evening.
Florence Booth was a Monday evening supper guest at the Charles Nitz home.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Emert Sr. of Fairchild were Sunday visitors at the George Paap
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller visited at the Richard Hakes home Monday evening.
Mrs. Salome Ondal and bobby were Saturday evening visitors at the Dick Brand
home.
Mrs. Joe Henderson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Henderson and
Mrs. Lucille Zais were Thursday dinner guests at the Vernon Reppert home in
Stanley.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hakes were business callers in Eau Claire Monday.
Sunday evening visitors at the Don Miller home were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Gerrits and Tom.
